It's Family First Always!!!

We all work hard, harder and harder and harder to give our families a lavish lifestyle. We also hope to spend a quality retirement life with them. But how does one define this comfortable lifestyle?

  1. What if I don't have a mobile that costs more than 10k?
  2. What if I don't drive a luxury car?
  3. What if I don't shop from malls where the world shops?
  4. What if I don't eat at the lavish looking restaurants?

But,

  1. What if I get to have dinner with family every night?
  2. What if I get an hour with family every day before retiring to bed and talk about just nothing?
  3. What if I get 2 vacations in a year with family where I don't need to worry about work?

I may not be living a lavish lifestyle but I definitely am living a much more happy and content lifestyle.

One needs to plan for the future for sure but giving up your present for the future is definitely not wise. One can never be sure about the future. One can never take it for granted. You may end up never seeing that future that you may be giving up your present for. And, what you miss while you have been working harder and harder and harder is sure gone forever.

Yes, there are exceptions to every rule but one needs to judiciously distinguish between the need and greed. The best way to do this is ask yourself – do I need what I am using and am I doing it for myself or for showing it to others?

Did you make your CHOICE today???

How many of us have said that it is my life and I want to choose how to live it? Am sure, unanimously all fingers would go up. Be it our college, our career, the mobile phones / laptops we use, the clothes we wear, the food we eat, movies we watch, music that we listen to the car we drive in. We want to choose every single thing we do.

But how often do we really get a chance to CHOOSE??? And when given a chance do we really exercise this Right of ours in the desired way?

It is election time. For once, people who we have never seen and will probably never see again in life have done one good thing. For the past few week they have regularly come and reminded us of our Right to Vote, our Right to Choose who we wish to see taking care of our day-to-day affairs.

Have you made your CHOICE yet? If not, go and cast your Vote now as every vote counts.

I have done my bit :)

I voted!!!
